HOPE HEAL LOVE COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP
WE PROVIDE AN OUTLET FOR INDIVIDUALS TO COME AND TALK ABOUT CERTAIN SITUATIONS THEY FACE AND FIND OUT THE NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE BEING ABUSED OR HOMELESS. WE PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH RESOURCED FOR BASIC NEEDS (FOOD,CLOTHING,SHELTER) TO START OVER. INDIVIDUALS WILL ALSO RECEIVE REFERRALS AND COUNSELING AND SHELTER IF NEEDED
NEW LIFE PROGRAM
The New Life Program consist of six sessions that cover a variety of personal growth and career development topics and will address the issues facing victims of domestic violence. The participants will gain self-awareness and knowledge of interpersonal interaction, family health and household management, and employment search, interviewing and resume writing skills. The grant will be spent to fund the following services, which will be implemented through the New Life Program: job counseling, job training and placement, health education, financial management-literacy training, and educational services for domestic violence survivors.
